Why won't my slides load?
In this article, you will find troubleshooting steps to resolve issues when course content or interactive slides fail to display correctly.
-
Check your internet connection Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Aviation CBTs often contain high-quality multimedia files that require a consistent download speed to initialize the player.
-
Refresh the browser and clear cache Sometimes a local file conflict prevents the slide from loading. Press F5 to refresh, or go to your browser settings to clear your "Cached images and files." This forces the LMS to download the latest version of the course slide.
-
Disable Ad-blockers and Pop-up blockers Some browser extensions identify the SCORM player window as a pop-up or a script. Ensure that your LMS URL is added to the "Allow" list or temporarily disable these extensions while studying.
-
Update your browser Evionica CBTs are optimized for modern web standards. Ensure you are using the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Avoid using outdated versions of browsers, as they may not support the interactive elements of the slides.
-
Check for "Resume" prompts If you see a spinning wheel or a blank screen, the system might be waiting for you to click a "Resume" button from a previous session. Check if there is a small pop-up window or a prompt at the top of the player asking if you want to continue from where you left off.
Note: Using a "Private" or "Incognito" window can sometimes bypass cache issues, but it may also prevent the LMS from saving your progress correctly if your browser settings are too restrictive regarding cookies.
Note: If you experience an error (MissingKeyMissing Key-Pair-Id query parameter or cookie value) when opening a CBT unit in the course, please refer to the following knowledge base article: https://aviation.evionica.com/knowledge/error-when-opening-a-cbt-unit
