What conditions can be set?

Each event registered in Best Pilot is verified against the conditions defined in the prices in the Price list.

If all the conditions defined for the price are fulfilled, it will be applied to the account of the appropriate user.

While defining a new price, you can select the Conditions (1) that have to be fulfilled to apply the price.

The conditions may concern the following parameters:

Airport – price will be applied only to the flight that arrives at the specified airport (can be used to specify a landing fee specific for a given airport)
Effective date – the date when the price should become operational
Apply only to specific instructor – price will be applied only when specific instructor(s) is/are participants of the event (possibility of choosing instructor(s) to apply charge or salary, to potentially differentiate salary and set higher/lower rates
Apply only to specific PIC – price will be applied only when the specific PIC is a participant of the event (possibility of choosing PIC to apply fee or salary, to potentially differentiate salary and set higher/lower rates
Training plans – choose training plan(s) that have to be added to the event for the price to be applied
Resources – choose resource(s) that have to be added to the event for the price to be applied
Event type – choose what type of event the price will be applied to, Ground event or Flight event.
Flight type – choose the type of flight for which the price will be applied

Note
It is possible to set multiple conditions for a single price, but all of them must be met by the event for the price to be calculated and applied.

More than one fee might be calculated for a single event. For example, for one training flight registered, there might be a flight fee based on Hobbs time, and additionally, a landing fee.

Remember to set conditions with different prices to be mutually exclusive to avoid multiple fees calculated at the same time.

Exemplary price explained
The charge of 100 EUR (2) will be applied to the user selected as a Student (3) for every Tacho hour flown (4) (counted proportionally)

if

Event is on or after 01.07.2025 (5)

and

Instructor involved in the event are Adam Apple or John Lu (6)

and

Resource used in the event is SP-EVI or SP-EVN (7)

and

Flight type is Training (8)
