How can I configure my ATO?

The first thing you should do, as the Administrator or Head of Training of the ATO, is creating the ATO in Best Pilot by completing its details.

1. On the Home page, select the Complete ATO details button (1).

2. Next, select the Create ATO as HT button (2).

3. Fill out the form with your ATO's basic information and details.
  • Official name (3)
  • Currency (4)
  • Minimum account balance to book resources (5) (you can also select Don't check pilots' account balances when booking tick box to omit it)
  • Trading name (6)
  • ATO certificate number (7)

4. You can also specify the contact details of your ATO:
  • Phone number (8)
  • Email address (9)
  • Safety manager's email address (10)

If you input the safety manager's email address, Best Pilot will generate a link (11) to the SMS form that can be placed on your ATO's website.

All form submissions will be sent to the email address you have provided.

5. Additionally, you can insert a link to your ATO's cloud library so that everyone in your organization will have easy access (12).

6. Finally, specify the address of your ATO.

 7. Once you have finished filling out the form, select the Done button (17).
 

8. The data you have inserted can always be changed by using the Edit button (18) located next to the corresponding section.

9. Your ATO is now configured in Best Pilot. Now, you can use other features of the platform.
